7.9/10Glen Moray's 18 Year Old is a quietly impressive Speyside single malt — well-aged, fairly priced at £90.50, and bottled at a rewarding 47.2% ABV. A dependable, mature dram that punches above its weight in a market that has largely forgotten what value looks like.

6 reviewsThis is everything I want from an 18-year-old Speyside. Rich toffee and dried fruit on the nose, with a lovely honeyed warmth that lingers. At 47.2% it's got enough punch to hold up neat without being aggressive. Really well balanced dram.

23 February 2026Bought this for my birthday and wow. The sherry influence is gorgeous — dark chocolate, stewed plums, a hint of cinnamon. That 47.2% ABV is the sweet spot, enough body to really coat the palate. For under a hundred quid this is punching well above its weight.

17 January 2026Solid whisky, no question. Creamy vanilla and baked apple, pleasant oak spice on the finish. But at £90 I expected a bit more complexity for an 18-year-old — there are younger bottles that surprise me more. Still, I'd happily drink it again if someone else is pouring.
