Look, it's a solid whisky with some lovely coastal character and a nice waxy texture. Brine, green apple, a hint of peat smoke. But at £93 I can't help thinking I could grab a really good Scotch for less. Worth trying once for sure, just not an everyday bottle for me.

Had this at a tasting night and it's perfectly fine single malt. Clean, a bit briny, some fruit and malt coming through. Nothing wrong with it at all, just didn't grab me the way I hoped given the price tag. I'd have it again but wouldn't rush to buy a bottle.

This is what you get when the French put their mind to making single malt — something genuinely different. Lots of maritime saltiness on the nose, then honey and orchard fruit that lingers nicely. At 46% it's got enough punch without being aggressive. I drink it neat and keep coming back to it.

You can really taste the Brittany coastline in this one. Salt air, fresh barley, and a touch of smoke that reminds me of a mild Islay. I usually add a few drops of water and it opens right up with more sweetness. At 46% ABV it's bottled at a proper strength too. Really enjoyable dram.

I picked this up on a whim and it absolutely blew me away. The nose is all sea spray and cereal sweetness, and on the palate you get this gorgeous mix of citrus, vanilla and a gentle smokiness. Non-chill filtered at 46% and you can tell — there's real depth here. One of my favourite discoveries this year.
