A well-curated 15-year-old Speyside from Wemyss Malts, bottled at an honest 46%. At under £90, The Debonair's Pursuit offers genuine depth and solid value in a market where age-stated single malts are harder to come by.

Priya Sharma VIPsAllowed — A proper Speyside treat
9/10

Picked this up on a whim and I'm glad I did. Rich honey and stewed orchard fruits on the nose, with a lovely waxy texture that coats the palate. At 46% it's got enough punch to hold up with a few drops of water but drinks beautifully neat. Fifteen years has done this cask proud.

Good whisky, no question. You get that classic Craigellachie meatiness underneath layers of vanilla and dried apricot. At nearly ninety quid though, I keep comparing it to other 15-year-old Speysides that come in a bit cheaper. I'd buy it again on sale but probably not at full price.
