Nose
Juicy peach and sweet ashy smoke, floral maritime notes, creamy warmth — refined peat, never aggressive

Creamy texture with tropical fruit — mango, pineapple — over a solid peat backbone that never dominates, a delicate floral thread weaving through
Finish
Long and lingering — sweet smoke, fruit salad sweetness balanced by savoury smoked meat, the custom French oak adding a final flourish
Expert Review
8/10Founded in 2000 by John Glaser — an American former Johnnie Walker marketing director — from his West London kitchen. Peat Monster debuted in 2003 as a special release for Park Avenue Liquor in New York. Predominantly Caol Ila and Laphroaig in refill hogsheads, plus a touch of Highland malt in custom French oak. 'A beast in tailcoats.'
