Palate
Waxy, oily texture — rich butterscotch, orchard fruits, white grape, lemon zest, gentle brine, toffee, light pepper — creamy, medium-bodied

Expert Review
8/10Built 1967 to replace the legendary Brora distillery next door. The backbone malt of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve. Famous for its signature waxy, oily character from tall stills and long fermentation. Coastal Sutherland location. 46% — unusually high for Diageo's core range. One of the most respected 'hidden gem' malts in Diageo's portfolio.
