Tasting Notes

Nose

Antique furniture wax, dried mango, salted almonds and a far-off bonfire. The peat has all but vanished into a fine maritime patina.

Palate

Astonishingly soft for the strength — coconut husk, lemon curd, old oak, candied pineapple and a final flicker of brine. Water draws out an almost tropical sweetness.

Finish

Immensely long, drying and resinous, with embers, sea air and a touch of bitter orange.
