Tasting Notes

Nose

Beeswax, ageing leather, dried seaweed, smouldering kelp, paraffin and a faint medicinal note like an old apothecary cabinet.

Palate

Soft and oily on arrival, then waxed lemon peel, ash, mineral salt and a long thread of overripe melon. Smoke is gentle, integrated rather than insistent.

Finish

Long, dry and salt-edged, with old oak tannin and a final puff of cold bonfire.
