Tasting Notes

Nose

Lemon barley water, fresh hay, a wisp of buttered shortbread and a curiously clean salinity. Without the smoke, the distillery character stands stripped to its bones.

Palate

Big and oily at full strength — pear drops, vanilla custard, white pepper and a faint mineral tang. Water releases more orchard fruit and a chalky, almost flinty texture.
