Tasting Notes

Nose

Brine, lemon oil, fresh peat smoke and bandages. A hint of olive juice and warm machine oil from beneath.

Palate

Hot and oily at full strength — green apple, sea salt, charred lemon and a wave of peat ash. With water it opens into vanilla, kippered fish and pebble.

Finish

Long, drying and mineral, ash settling slowly with a citric tug at the end.
