Nose
Stewed apricot, toasted almond, beeswax polish and a whisper of dark honey. Fig jam unfolds with air, underpinned by old leather and candied orange peel.
Palate
Silken and layered — raisin bread, marzipan, milk chocolate and that signature Madeira note of burnt sugar and walnut. Gentle oak tannins ride beneath baked stone fruit.
Finish
Long and graceful. Drying oak, lingering dried fig, a final breath of roasted nuts and faint tobacco leaf.
