Tasting Notes

Nose

Honeyed malt — warm ginger snap cookies, cardamom, clove, star anise, mango, banana, pears, buttery shortbread, vanilla custard, floral notes

Palate

Complex fruit — malt, vanilla, honey, light spice, sherry sweetness, walnut shells, citrus, the triple distillation producing remarkable smoothness, the ten years adding depth

Finish

Short and malty — vanilla, honey, salt water taffy, wood, clean and satisfying, the 1608 heritage in every sip

From Ireland's oldest licensed distillery — a licence granted in 1608 to Sir Thomas Phillips. 100% malted Irish barley, triple-distilled, matured ten years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Winner of Best Irish Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards. Honeyed malt, vanilla, and ginger snap cookies.
