Tasting Notes

Nose

Fresh barley, citrus, a gentle maritime freshness. The Islay-grown barley gives the nose a distinctive cereal character. Beneath it, vanilla, honey and a faint coastal salinity. Clean, precise and unmistakably Bruichladdich.

Palate

Bright and cereal-forward — barley, lemon, honey, a gentle maritime character. The terroir concept shows in the spirit's connection to its grain — clean, fresh, agricultural. Mid-palate brings vanilla, a gentle spice and a clean malty warmth. At 50%, excellent presence.

Finish

Medium-long, with clean barley and a gentle coastal warmth.

100% Islay-grown barley, unpeated — Bruichladdich's terroir experiment at its most focused.
