Nice enough dram with pleasant vanilla and caramel notes from the American oak. The high ABV gives it good body. My issue is it feels a touch young — there's a slight spirity edge that a few more years would smooth out. With a splash of water it opens up nicely though.

Been curious about Nordic whiskies for a while and Box delivers. The nose is all honey and baking spices, and the palate follows through with creamy vanilla and a hint of citrus peel. At around £93 it's not cheap, but you're getting cask strength quality here so I think it's reasonable for what it is.
