Nice enough bourbon with brown sugar and dried cherry on the nose, but at £90 I expected a bit more complexity. It drinks hot for 100 proof if you're not careful. I'd buy it once but probably not again when there's stiff competition at this price point.

I was skeptical about another heritage brand resurrection, but Bond & Lillard actually delivers. At 50% ABV it's got real backbone — caramel, toasted oak, and a long peppery finish. Sipped neat, this is a solid Friday night pour.
