At 60.2% this thing doesn't mess around. Neat it's all dried fruit, toffee and a big hit of oak spice, but add a few drops of water and it opens up into something really lovely — stewed plums, honey, a bit of dark chocolate. Thirteen years in that single cask did the job. For under £90 this is genuinely good value for an independent bottling at natural strength.
