You can really taste the craftsmanship here — rich toffee and dried fruit with a hint of spice on the finish. I usually drink my whisky with a splash of water and this one opens up beautifully. Solid pick for the price range.

This is everything I want from a Speyside single malt. Honey, vanilla, and gentle oak on the nose, with a creamy sweetness that lingers. At 43% it's smooth enough to sip neat all evening. One of my favourite Balvenie expressions.
