Crème anglaise, cut grass, dark chocolate, dry marzipan, toasted nuts, cooked pears, cereal — fresh and clean

Palate

Doughy buttery body — lemon, pineapple, aniseed, charred oak, ground almonds, gentle sweetness

Built 1974 in Speyside, formerly bottled as 'The Singleton of Auchroisk' before that name moved to Dufftown. Mostly fills Diageo blends (J&B). The only official Auchroisk in the Flora & Fauna range, released 2001. 43%. An affordable way to taste a rarely-seen distillery.
