Earthy peat with caramel, dried dark fruits, stewed cranberries, milky coffee, cocoa, cinnamon, mace

Palate

Sweet caramel and soft gentle peat upfront — crisp red apple, raisins, stewed cranberries, candied orange peel, touch of strawberry jam

Light and honeyed with a final flash of wine sweetness — port and peat in harmony

2015 core-range addition. Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels then finished in port pipes. Non-chill filtered. Rare example of port-finished peated Highland whisky from the Beam Suntory-owned Aberdeenshire distillery. 46%. One of the better port-finished peated malts on the market.
