Picked this up for Ardbeg Day and cracked it open with mates. Classic Ardbeg smoke but there's this weird tropical fruit thing going on underneath that caught me off guard — mango and charred pineapple? At 48.3% it's got plenty of punch neat but doesn't burn you out. Probably my favourite Ardbeg Day release in a few years.

I enjoy Ardbeg and the Smokiverse is solid — big campfire smoke on the nose, brine, a touch of vanilla sweetness on the palate. But at £89.95 for what's essentially a NAS limited release, I can't help feeling the regular Ten gives you 85% of this experience for half the price. Had it neat and it's nice, just not sure it justifies the premium.
