Nose
Opulent — woody, ripe fruit with citrus and acacia honey. Tropical fruits — mango, pineapple. Finely spiced, chocolaty and very original. The rum cask influence is immediate and generous.
Palate
Rich and velvety — fruity and spicy malt with toasted, vanilla, caramel and chocolate notes. Flambéed pineapple, almond, nutmeg. The tropical maturation in Martinique concentrates everything — one year of tropical climate equals four years temperate.
Finish
Very long and indulgent — papaya, candied orange, malt. The 10% angel's share leaves behind something concentrated and magnificent.
