30 reviewsThis is exactly what I want from an A'Bunadh release. Massive dried fruit and dark chocolate on the nose, then waves of stewed plums and Christmas cake. At 56.2% it's hot neat but a few drops of water opens it up beautifully. Worth the price for a proper sherry cask experience.

30 January 2026I grabbed this on a whim and it's become my favourite bottle on the shelf right now. The nose alone is incredible — rich fruitcake, dark honey, and baking spices. Full-bodied and warming at cask strength but never harsh. Already thinking about buying a backup before it disappears.

27 January 2026Finding decent cask strength sherry matured whisky under £100 is getting harder, so this delivers on that front. Nose is all dark fruit and walnut. I add a splash of water to bring it down from the 56.2% and it rounds out nicely, though the oak tannins can be a touch drying.

7 January 2026Poured this neat after dinner and it was just the ticket. Big sherry influence with sticky dates, nutmeg, and a hint of orange peel underneath. The cask strength really carries those flavours. My wife even asked for a taste, which never happens.
