The blend is accessible by design. The flavours are fairly light — vanilla, fruit, shortbread — and the body is thin compared to cask-strength bourbons, but this is a blended whiskey at modest proof, not a single barrel. The ease of drinking is the point, and on those terms it succeeds.
At $39.99, Traveller is surprisingly well-priced for a celebrity-endorsed whiskey from Buffalo Trace.
