Tasting Notes in Detail
The nose is immediately tropical: ripe mango, banana bread, honey and vanilla pod with a whisper of cinnamon. The palate is creamy and full-bodied — mango, honeycomb, butterscotch, milk chocolate and gentle oak spice with a satisfying barley sweetness underneath. The finish is long, warming and honeyed.
Verdict
An excellent introduction to Indian single malt at cask strength.
