Pour it neat first — always — and sit with it for five minutes before you do anything else. Then add a small splash of still water, no more than half a teaspoon at a time. At 59.6%, it genuinely needs it, and the transformation as the ABV drops is part of the experience. A few drops will temper the alcohol heat and let the underlying character come through more clearly. I wouldn't put this in a cocktail or a Highball — at this price and this strength, it deserves your full attention in a proper tasting glass.
