The Glenturret 15 Year Old is the flagship of the distillery's age-stated range under the Lalique stewardship. Fifteen years of maturation in a combination of first-fill and refill sherry casks has produced a whisky of genuine depth, and the Lalique presentation — the whisky is served in a Lalique-designed glass at the distillery restaurant — signals the ambition.

This expression pushes the sherry influence further than the 12 Year Old, with the extra three years allowing the European oak to contribute more dried fruit, chocolate, and spice. The spirit's malty, fruity character remains visible beneath the cask influence, but the balance has shifted decisively towards the wood. Bottled at 55% cask strength.

The nose is rich and inviting: dark cherry, Christmas pudding, dark chocolate, fig, and clove, with old oak and a hint of leather. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated — dried fruit compote, treacle toffee, espresso, walnut, ginger, and a rich maltiness that anchors the sherry sweetness. The cask strength delivery means nothing is lost to dilution.

The finish is long and warming, with oak tannins, dried fruit, and a persistent spice that lingers. It is a significant whisky — one that earns its place at the top of the Glenturret range and demonstrates that Scotland's oldest distillery can produce spirit worthy of its history.
