Carpathian Single Malt Vradiano Cask Finish is part of the Greek & Cypriot Wine Cask Collection — Romanian single malt matured in bourbon casks for three years, then finished in 200-litre American white oak barrels that previously held Vradiano, a Greek wine from the Alexandrion group's Mediterranean portfolio.
The cross-Mediterranean concept is uniquely Alexandrion. The Romanian barley, sub-Carpathian water and bourbon base maturation are finished in Greek wine casks — connecting two whisky-unfamiliar cultures through a shared parent company. The Vradiano wine adds balanced vanilla hints and a gentle, slightly salty sweetness.
