Tasting Notes

Nose

A subtle and pleasant nose, with just a hint of smoke swirled together with mellow sugar.

Palate

On first sip, the whiskey presents a fairly rounded blend between sweet and smooth. I only detect a slight bit of smoke, but nothing approaching the “pronounced smokiness” advertised on the bottle. The mid-mouth feel is a little bright, and the finish is warm with a lingering caramel note.
